How the current LinkToKeep release handles browser sessions, submitted links and downloaded files.
Session and job data
The service sets an essential session cookie, mh_session, with a 30-day lifetime. Jobs are associated with that session. Submitted URLs, extracted metadata, job status and file information are processed on our servers. This is a server-side downloader, not local-only processing.
Temporary files
Completed files are available for one hour. Scheduled cleanup removes expired job records and files; physical removal can occur after the access window closes. An additional storage lifecycle rule cleans up orphaned files. Save files to your own device before the link expires.
Infrastructure and external requests
Cloudflare hosts the application, job database and temporary file storage. Requests to source platforms are needed to inspect and download media. The interface may load preview images from source hosts and fonts from Google Fonts. These providers receive the network information needed to serve those requests. Operational infrastructure logs may contain request information.
Accounts and permissions
LinkToKeep does not ask for your social-platform passwords or accept account-cookie uploads. Do not submit private credentials or sensitive URLs. Access to completed files requires the browser session associated with the job.
